PILLOWS AND BOLSTERS AS BABY GIFTS
in india i have learn most of the people dnt hav their new borns wear new clothes
they usually use hand me downs for the first forty days
one of my friends here in India has recently had a baby
so and its a girl and my hands r aching to make all kinds of baby stuffs
but since she wouldn't be wearing clothes for at least 30 days or so i have decided to make something that she can use.
i made new born pillows n bolsters

pillows r easy u just cut two rectangular pieces of clothes
take measures so u can use them t make the covers 
some like huge pillows some like little ones.
just make sure they are not too hard or lumpy
its usually advised that newborns don't use any pillows
and these pillows r more of decoration for photos and such and for the crib. i suspect the babys elder brother will use hem more than her
anyway

i forgot to write to turning it right side out after the 3 sides r stitched
And also the edges have to be folded in after filling and then stitched

As for as sewing for the bolster goes
take the rectangular piece n do stictching leaving a two inch gap in the middle
now the circle should be smaller than the open ends of the bolster
if the circle s the same size it would look like a cylinder
and if the circle is bigger , well it would be impossible to stitch
put little pleats as u go on stitching around the end
turn it inside out fill with fiber and close the opening with hand stitching
