Making bolster covers

Take the bolster measurements that you used to make the bolster

Add one inch to the width and ten to the long length

Fold twice and hem the two ends

Then do trimmings and decorations with ribbons laces etc.

Now we do the both ends

Measure about 4 inch from each side

Fold from here

Stitch to wider than the width of elastic you would be using

Now fold this down and put down a stitch on the loose end

Then do the other end

Take elastic run it though this a the place you have made

I fasten the ends together with a hand stitch

Then I do the stitch along the long end

Turn inside out and you are done.
